@alastc Also: the final display medium also has an effect. Ink bleeds on different papers. Displays render pixels differently. Software gets in the mix. I’d say you have a challenge on your hands to try and isolate stroke weight as a single factor given the variables.Permalink On twitter.com

@alastc Also: culture. Blackletter style was once considered perfectly acceptable about a hundred years ago. Not really anymore. And preferences and perception continually shift seemingly regardless to functional benefit (see car control UI for an example of this)On twitter.com
