    1. Today, I self-medicated my virus anxiety with repotting a rather splendid cherry plum bonsai I’ve been developing for three years. Felt good, that. Rather fetching in its nice new blue pot.

    Here’s that cherry plum I reported last night. Pretty eh? Only three years since collection from Croatia. Loads more work to do on the canopy. (Orange for scale - it’s a big, little tree!)

      That was quite a severe repot – reduced the rootball significantly and it had a lot of vine weevil larvae which might have been an issue. As such, that photo is the back of the tree because of a few very large roots that I wasn't comfortable pruning so drastically.
