    1. Why isn’t there a non-profit, distributed, means of storing portable citizen/user data? Say I’m a lecturer going from school to school. My profile data should come with me. Maintaining many profiles is only getting worse.

    I’d trust a non-profit, non-commercial cooperative with that data on the expressed understanding it wouldn’t be sold. The services could opt-in, and users could give permission for aspects of their data to be used.
