    @andybudd I'm not surprised. What you're are saying is that if you reach a certain level, then you shouldn't design. For many designers, 'doing' design is what they are, not what they do. Especially if they are talented.

      @andybudd So, it's not self-worth that is challenged, but *self*. And, as someone who sits in the camp, I have felt that conflict. Needing to create – hands-on, moving pixels or code around – is a well-honed need for many designers regardless of seniority or pigeon-holing by corp structure
