      1. Since thinking about starting my own little agency again, I've noticed a few things since I last ran one: There's a huge gap at the smaller (more nimble, less expensive) end of the market. Many tiny agencies and studios moved in house.

      As with after 2008, I wonder if the current, and deepening, recession is an opportunity for smaller, more nimble studios and agencies. More specialist. More creative.

    Because, there is precedent for this before 2008, too. In 2001, after the crash, smaller web agencies flourished. Blogging was born. After a forest fire, new shoots grow.
