    1. Upgraded the house network over to Unify over the weekend. Gone is a cobbled together mess of Google Wifi, old switches, a crummy Draytek router. So, the internals is all ready for our new pipe into the house in the next couple of months.

    So far, Unify is *excellent* for our needs. Setup was relatively easy, wifi is now seamless through a mix of old house and extension (stone walls, glass steel, brick - you name it, this house is built from it). Mix of wired and meshed wifi points make for no dead spots.

      The only thing lacking is fine-grained one-touch control over my kid's wifi network. Using OpenDNS, I can at least safeguard their connection a bit. I can also throttle it, and it's on a schedule.
