    1. Replaced iPad screen successfully, and home button. Pressing the sides to seat the adhesive and cracked the new screen. fml.

    On closer inspection, the body has been dented on the corner slightly lifting the whole of the bottom of the display by fractions of a millimetre. Enough distance to cause a crack on pressing. The tolerances are pretty amazing.
