    1. For the past month I've been working exclusively with typography, in black and white, HTML and print. It's like playing acoustic guitar. Nothing to hide behind. No distortion or fancy effects. When you look at design this way, it forces you to look at the important things.

    The words you use. The space in between things. The relative size of things. How your read. How your eye moves. How you use the object. It's been nice working in such an enforced, stripped-back kind of way. Very refreshing.
