  1. I think it's easy and lazy to just dismiss Trump/Boris/Brexit voters as dumb etc etc. Things don't get better that way. As I did when Brexit happened, today I'm going to take the time to try and understand. To listen really hard to those with different views to my own.

      I tried that a couple of years ago by listening to Nigel Farage's radio show. I learnt a lot. About the story, the rhetoric, the people behind the vote. Yes, emotionally, it was painful every single time.
