    1. It must be quite nice to be able to firmly fit yourself into a designer title box. ‘I’m a UX’er’. ‘I’m a Service Designer’. ‘I’m a Designer Leader’. ‘I’m a Branding Designer’. ‘I’m a Product Designer’. After 25 years I still don’t fit in one box.

    Overall, I think it’s a net positive though. So for all of you that might feel sometimes – like me – that you’re square peg in a round industry, you’re not.

      Because when all of big tech is run from one component library with varying shades of corporate Memphis, it’s your talents (and, yes, that’s what they are) that create interesting meaningful and worthwhile work.
