      1. It is possible to have healthy discussion and debate about politics in work or elsewhere. In fact, I’d say it’s essential for democracy. I think things are a lot more complex and nuanced than that blog post from Basecamp suggests.

      Multi-cultural societal differences are not best played out over remote tools in amongst discussions about UI widgets.

    But, of course, that’s not to say those differences should not be encouraged to be discussed openly, directly, reasonably, and maturely. Terrible to shut those conversations down. ‘At work, you work’.
