My cycling coach set me a session a couple of weeks ago where I have to sit at a certain wattage for 30 minutes. Normally, it would be fine, but it’s after 10 mins of high intensity efforts. I’ve tried it twice and failed to finish. Today is the day I finish it.

For those who are interested, that 30 mins is about 95% of my current ftp. It should be doable, but it hasn’t been. The 10 minutes preceding are 30/30 of 30s 200% ftp/30s easy. It must be muscular fatigue, but it’s a puzzle. Anyway, it was a rest day yesterday so no excuses.
