  1. Went to the Sophie Taeuber-Arp collection at the Tate today. It was brilliant. So many threads of modern graphic design were sown by her in the 1920’s. A brilliant designer and artist.

      The thing that struck me about the collection was not how prolific she was (she was a *machine* during the late teen early twenties) but how varied the media was: pen, paint, sculpture, embroidery, dance, architecture, industrial design, wood turning. Just amazing.
