  1. Welsh people say ‘lovely’ a lot. Examples: ‘Aw, there’s lovely’. Meaning: ‘that’s nice’. ‘Ok, lovely’. A term of endearment. Just ‘lovely’ for almost anything. Today, I ended a phone call with someone I’ve never met with ‘ok there lovely’. I have absolutely no idea.
